Install and open
- Download the official ZIP when available, expand it and move LyricFlow to Applications.
- Open the app. If macOS cannot verify its developer, decide whether you trust the source before proceeding.
- For an unidentified-developer warning, follow Apple’s per-app instructions in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Make any approval yourself. Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove quarantine with a script. If macOS reports malware or damage, stop and contact support.
- Start music in your player. Grant Automation only for players you intend LyricFlow to control. If denied, revisit System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation.
Lyrics and player support
LRCLIB supplies available lyrics without an account. Optional personal Spicy publishable-key access is in Settings → About → Sources and APIs → Advanced connection. Never enter a secret key. Free follows lines. Word timing and every player control depend on the recording and source. Pro is planned at US$3 once; purchases and restoration are not open yet.
Update or uninstall
Updates are manual. Quit LyricFlow, replace the app in Applications with the verified customer release and reopen. Settings and optional Keychain credentials can persist. To uninstall, quit and move the app to Trash. Remove optional credentials in the app first if desired; never delete unrelated Keychain items.
