Playback and artwork
LyricFlow reads current-song metadata, playback state, position and artwork from your selected player or the macOS media session. Playback controls are sent to that player. Metadata and recording identifiers may be sent to Spotify or Apple’s catalog for matching. Artwork hosts receive image requests and ordinary connection information, including your IP address.
Local settings and connections
Optional Spotify authorization tokens are stored in macOS Keychain. The background renderer runs locally with network connections blocked; separate catalog and artwork requests still use the network. Local records and system caches may remain after uninstalling the app.
Support and your choices
When you contact support, we use the information you send to respond and resolve your request. Closed support correspondence is retained for 12 months, unless a dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, authorization tokens or private verification links.
